I’m a contemporary abstract artist based in the Northern Rivers, where I’ve maintained a studio practice for over 20 years.

My work explores the profound connections between place and self - expressing how locations gather memories, sensations, and uncontrived beauty. I believe that places, rich with history and energy, shape our lived experiences. Through sensory perception, I transform the felt experience into visual narratives that deepen our connection to the world around us. My paintings engage in a philosophical dialogue, marking the interplay between the self and the environment, and inviting viewers to reflect on their own experiences of place.

Working primarily in acrylics and mixed media, I build vibrant textured layers through intuitive mark-making and considered composition. My paintings draw inspiration from heritage architecture, natural landscapes, and the cultural structures that shape our sense of belonging. Each piece is an exploration of strength, resilience, and the beauty embedded in both built and natural environments.

After studying visual arts at Southern Cross University, I worked on large-scale commercial installations and design projects before returning to painting full-time. My works are held in private and public collections, and I regularly accept commissions and collaborate on exhibitions.
